Biography

Consultant Interventional Cardiology & Internal Medicine with extensive expertise in complex cardiovascular disease management. Experienced in 2,200+ coronary angiograms and 890 PCIs, including 125 bifurcation cases as first operator. Skilled in using intravascular imaging, calcium modification, and atherectomy tools, with additional proficiency in echocardiography, temporary pacemaker implantation, and pericardiocentesis. Currently undertaking a Structural Heart Disease Intervention Fellowship at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute/UMKC, United States. This fellowship has a dedicated focus on aortic, mitral, tricuspid valve treatments, as well as paravalvular leak closures, alcohol septal ablation, ASD/PFO closures, left atrial appendage closures, and congenital heart disease interventions. By the end of this fellowship, expected to have performed over 700 structural heart disease procedures, complementing a high-volume interventional cardiology background.
